Sometimes the best ideas come to light when you've had a few to many amber nectars. 99.99% of the time we don't act on these flashes of inspiration. This is an attempt to th(row) ourselves into the exception. What is the purpose of this blog? It's two fold. My fold is as follows
1. Due to being content with life I seem to have developed a touch of premature middle aged spread. Life is more wobbly than it used to be and I need someform of inspiration to get me in shape. I can't face nibbling on rivita, chewing on seeds and calorie counting so I need to get myself into gear and dust of my gym kit. I am currently a cuddly 15 stones and its time to trim down.
What do I want to achieve? I want to turn myself into a human washboard. In the event that this isn't achievable I want to lose 1.5 stones to be able to row 2000m in 7 mins. I think the first mission is achievable (with a huge amount of will power) but I suspect the latter isn't. No matter, at least I have something to aim for which I think is what I need to keep me off that second plate of cheese. I will keep a log of my weight and times. The official weigh in and first time trial will start tomorrow. In the meantime I'm going to have a few beers, a bottle of wine and a second plate of pasta. Make hay whilst the sun shines as training starts tomorrow.
